While in Toronto’s Union Station this morning, I noticed a homeless guy going through the coin slots on all the payphones.

Sure, everyone has seen this happen in the past, but recently?  Really?

Everyone has a cell phone now, even your 90 year old grandmother has an iPhone, and your 2 year old packs a Blackberry.

No wonder this guy is homeless.  Seeing that only homeless people and pedophiles use payphones, I can’t imagine that anyone would find substantial money in the coin slot.

This guy doesn’t win for being smart, and this is probably why he is homeless.

Anyways, I end up walking through the handicap cart, which is for handicap people. You figure you would see people in wheel chairs, and other handicap people.

You know what I did see though? Fat people.

To be a bit more accurate, fat women. The same ones that use the handicap elevator to go up the one flight of stairs.

Yesterday while I was pumping gas at an Esso gas station I watched two white guys get into an argument.

This was not the argument that you would think, the argument was polite and the reason they were arguing? The white guy walking out of the Esso held the door for the white guy walking in. Then the one walking in said no after you….. and the white guy holding the door for the other white guy said… no no after you sir. They stood on either sides of the door with one white dude holding the door the other standing on the other side back and forth saying no after you. This went on for about 5 minutes while this was going on a whole family of Indians walked in and said nothing …seconds later a Indian women walked in said nothing all the while this retarded white man is still holding the door open and the other white guy is saying thank you … but after you .. LOL.. I laughed my stupid ass off.

Look, while it is nice to see some people still have a caring heart to think about the next person and hold the door for them, this is just stupid after the guy coming in said no after you .. just walk through man. The Indian family that walked in while this was going on didn’t even notice this was happening never mind they probably thought the white guy holding the door was doing it because it was his job. No one gives a shit no more, people in general are ass holes they don’t care about you and they don’t care about anything around them. If you cant change them….be like them. I see someone coming towards the door I make sure it slams in there face, why? Because if they had the same decision it would be slammed in my face. I learned after a couple of years of holding doors for people that no one gives a fuck. You look like a bitch holding the door some stupid ass mother fucker walks in and doesn’t even look at you never mind say thank you. You walk out like a bitch … your that mans bitch .. he owns you.

I have waited for a guy once just as he ran at the door I pushed it shut. When he walked in he looked at me and I looked at him .. like that’s right your a bitch I slammed the door in your fuckin face .. fuck face. I know its not nice and in a perfect world people would hold doors for people and say thank you. But we don’t, we live in a world of people that will cut there mothers throat for a buck.

Its the same when your trying to get off a bus or a train .. I push as many people as possible. I shove my way out like there is a fire and who ever is last is gonna burn a slow death. I shove my way through the door like its a fuckin Olympic race and I’m going for the damn gold medal bitch. Your Michael Johnson and I’m Donavan Bailey .. Because if you don’t act this way you will get stomped on. I’m in a train and I’m hopping over seats and babies to get to the door. Your in my way the elbows come out. I don’t give 2 fucks.

Driving your car on the streets? You should know how it is you either get through the lights or you sit behind everyone who will constantly cut around you no signals no brake lights .. in and out of traffic and pass you on the turning lanes. Pass you down the center median. So now I do the same, I see you trying to pass ill do the same .. shit I was going 140 along Mavis the other day and climbing because one women wanted to pass me even though I was doing like 90 in a 60 .. so as she began to speed up I did the same. Until we both were doing 140 and then she slowed down got in behind me and made a right turn. Crazy? Maybe .. but in our world of the careless and fuck you to get ahead this is the norm.

Police are searching for a 15-year-old girl from Toronto after she went missing Sunday afternoon.

Friends last saw Stephanie Doss at about 5 p.m. Oct. 25 near Lawrence Park Collegiate.

The school is near the intersection of Lawrence Ave. W and Chatsworth Dr. Doss is described as white, 5-foot-3, 130 pounds with long blond hair and brown roots. She has brown eyes and wears heavy makeup.

Today the roads are safer.

Ontario’s ban on using cell phones while driving begins today. While making the odd 5 minute call here and there was good, being almost hit by some girl on a cell phone every time I hopped in m car wasn’t.

This is definitely a hot topic, however like most things we have to be fair and ban it for everyone. Not in this age can you can penalize the people that make this an issue, you have to make it wide spread.

I don’t think of any point where I left for work and just HAD to call someone soon as I hopped in my car, and then stay on the phone after I got to work, parked, and entered the building.

Women, who do you have to talk to first thing in the morning on the way to work?

I always use my headset anyways, and my calls are usually just a few minutes if I NEED to make a call.

Oh well.

At least I don’t have to worry about being hit as much.

The Toronto Maple Leafs Have Ruined My Life

Yes, 7 losses 0 wins.

I honestly thought that the Leafs just had to bond as a team. As a Leaf fan, I understand that everyone we have on our first 3 forward lines don’t deserve to even be in the NHL. However, I also have confidence that they can still win some games.

I figured tonight would be the night they would pull through for me and the other Leaf fans that are quickly jumping ship as it sinks. However, again they proved to me that it won’t be bonding that brings this team out of the bottom. It will take real players, some good old fashioned players that can actually score goals. The Leafs top forward is? Jason Blake? Grabovski? Poni? You know when you actually look over this team there is nobody other than the checking guys; Orr, Rosehill, and Mayers that should even be in the lineup. The defence isn’t bad, they aren’t as great as everyone thought they would be. But the forwards? My gawd!

You know I honestly think Brian Burke (GM) is actually trying to make the team better. But its not working, and I don’t know why and I’m sure he doesn’t either. We know that so far the Leafs couldn’t score a goal to save their lives. I think they made a big mistake sending Kadri down to the minors. Also Bozak and Hanson with Stralberg can make an impact in scoring. Stajan is a 3rd line guy. Blake; 3rd line. Ponikarovski; 3rd line. Grabovski is one of the only players on the Leafs that I know has talent however he is an East / West type player playing on a line with dump and chase players. Grabovski cant be grinding in a corner he needs to be flying down the ice with someone that can pass the puck and find him to score at full throttle.

I don’t know what to do or say, I keep expecting for them to come out of this funk,  however I don’t think they are going to win a single game all October.

I thought about being a fan of Calgary or Edmonton, but although I like both teams,  The Toronto Maple Leafs are what I grew up watching. They are my team and even though I may never see the day they win another Stanley cup. I pray that my son gets a chance to experience it for me.

The GTA sucks Toronto/Peel

Ontario sucks! But at least it's not as cold as Manitoba..

I unfortunately was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. While I was growing up I loved living here. The houses were nice with lots of land, the people were friendly and everyone on the street would get together for BBQ’s. Halloween would come and the entire area would have lights on,  pumpkins carved, and we would walk for hours getting candy from nice people. Taxes weren’t too bad, houses were fairly cheap. Living was fairly cheap, and my mother stayed home to be a mother.

Now I’m older and I have my own family. I live in the same area I grew up, and my wife works while my son stays with my mother in law. Reason? Day care is like $900+ a month. My house is a detached 1 garage, 1 car driveway with 2 feet of grass between my house and the house next to me. My house costs $50,000 more then what my parents owned and my entire house could fit into our old family room. Property taxes cost me $250 a month to live in an area so heavily populated that it takes me 45 minutes to drive to work in the morning when I actually only live 15 minutes from my office.

The PST + GST taxes are stupid as hell. Everything I buy here costs me as much as it would be to buy 2 of the same items across the border in Buffalo. Gas costs more because I live in a rural area. My auto insurance premiums are crazy! When you have never had an accident and have been driving for 15 years and you still are paying $250 a month on 1 vehicle then add another $175 on another vehicle and house insurance $25. That’s $450 a month just on insurance because I live within the GTA.

My neighbors don’t talk to anyone on the street. In fact all my neighbors don’t seem to speak much English so even if they are nice people I wouldn’t know. My monthly salary is taxed soooo much that I cant understand how I always seem to owe the government at the end of every year? I think about over $10,000 in taxes a year and think, what am I paying for? Because I own a house I cant claim taxes at the end of the year. But if I rent I can ..???  WTF ?  Now that I’m married I pay even more in taxes. I purchased two new vehicles, and I could purchase the same vehicles in the USA for $10,000 cheaper even though these vehicles are actually built in the city I actually live in.

I have learned that you can’t get ahead in the GTA and Peel. If you want to get ahead you need to have your own company, or scam everything you can to get ahead. I want to give my son things that I had when I was growing up. I want him to live a life of freedom and fun and be able to do what ever he wants. If he wants to play sports I want to be able to pay for his right to play those sports. But really does that make any sense? Kids should be allowed to play what ever they want without having to worry about if mom and dad cant afford it. I feel that I make pretty good money, and my wife make fairly good money too. However the taxing to death and crazy charges that we have to deal with living in a city and province that has nothing good to offer is unbelievable. I know back in the 70’s and 80’s cars were cheaper, houses were cheaper, everything was cheaper. I used to be able to buy a bag of chips for 75 cents, a bottle of pop for 75 cents and it was almost a litre. Now its a $1.75 for a 500 ml bottle of pop, and $1.25 for a bag of small chips. They are making it very hard for people to live. I have been looking into moving to another part of Ontario, where the property taxes are really low and the houses are dirt cheap and the land is huge, and everyone on the street knows your name and says hi to you as you leave in the morning to go to work. I have realized that’s the life I want for my son. I want him to ride his bike and play with other kids on the street and be able to enjoy life as much as he can. Living here at the moment sucks! I am tired of paying to live in an area like this and when I move out another person will move in that cant speak any English and will have 15 people living in a 3 bedroom house. Half of them will live off welfare and still work for under the table money. The rest will have legit jobs owning there own business scamming the government and driving around in $100,000 cars.

Good luck Peel when I move out I wont ever return. I don’t go to Toronto for anything, it’s useless and I refuse to give you my hard earned money.
